Hasina sued in another murder case during uprising

A case was filed today against 189 people, including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, over the killing of Ali Hussain during the July-August mass uprising.
Mofizul Islam Sana, a relative of Hussain, lodged the case with the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court under Ragib Nur. After recording the statement of the petitioner, the court directed the Uttara East Police Station to inform the court within 20 working days whether any case has already been filed in this regard.
Other key individuals named in the case include Obaidul Quader, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Anisul Huq, Mohammad A. Arafat, Atiqul Islam, Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Habibur Rahman, and Harun Ur Rashid.
According to the case documents, Ali Hussain was shot in the Azampur House Building area on July 18 and was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
