Massive fire at Noakhali’s Hawkers Market

A fire has broken out at the Hawkers Market in Noakhali’s Maijdee.
It was first reported at around 11:45pm on Saturday (January 11).
Eight fire engines are trying to contain the blaze, said Maijdee Fire Service official Yasin Molla.
Army troops and police are assisting the firefighters.
Local residents said they saw sparks at Hawkers and Nupur Market at night. The fire spread quickly and engulfed around 20 shops.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
