BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's arrival at London’s Heathrow Airport on Wednesday morning marked her reunion with her son Tarique Rahman after nearly seven years.
The air ambulance carrying her landed in London about three hours later than the scheduled time.
BNP's acting chairman and Khaleda Zia's son, Tarique Rahman, along with his wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman, welcomed her at the airport.
Members of the third generation of the Zia family were also present at the time.
