Concert venues in Dhaka on Victory Day

As part of the annual Victory Day celebrations on December 16, various events have been organized across Dhaka, featuring performances by some of the country’s most popular artists, including rock legend James.
One of the key highlights is the “Universal Concert,” organized by the group Sabar Age Bangladesh, set to take place at Manik Mia Avenue.
The event will begin at 12pm and will showcase performances by 23 renowned musicians. The grand finale will feature James, widely known as “Nagor Baul.”
The concert aims to celebrate Bangladeshi music and culture while inspiring the younger generation to connect with the nation’s rich history and heritage.
Individual performances will include legendary artists like Syed Abdul Hadi, Khurshid Alam, Kanak Chapa, Asif Akbar, Baby Nazneen, Monir Khan, Kona, Imran, Pritom, Moushumi and Xefer.
Popular bands such as Nagor Baul, Different Touch, Ark, Souls, Shironamhin, Artcell, Avoid Rafa, and Shonar Bangla Circus will also take the stage.
In addition, the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will host an open-air music show at the Nandan Mancha in the evening. Meanwhile, Victory Fest 2024 will take place at Jamuna Future Park from 11 AM to 8 PM, featuring performances by Kaktaal and Shubhro.
These vibrant events promise to bring people together in celebration of Bangladesh’s history and culture on this momentous day.
