Asif Mahmud: Northern Bangladesh long deprived of development

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has said northern Bangladesh has long been deprived of development due to discrimination, assuring people that efforts will be made to expedite the development of these districts.

Asif made the comments on Tuesday during a winter clothing distribution event for the underprivileged in Kaharol upazila of Dinajpur, followed by a discussion session with local officials.

He mentioned that the current government has initiated reforms across various sectors and called for the cooperation of all in these efforts.

In his address, Asif paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the July uprising, vowing that their sacrifices will not go in vain and that their contributions will be properly recognized.
