The government has appointed Brigadier General Mohammad Faisal Azad as the new Chairman of the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB), a state-owned trading organization.
A recent notification in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.
The officer, who is currently serving in the army, has been appointed on deputation to the Ministry of Commerce.
Meanwhile, the previous Chairman of TCB, Brigadier General Mustafa Iqbal, has been recalled to the army.
