Hostages rescued from Keraniganj bank after 3.5hrs

Members of law enforcement rescued hostages held by a gang of robbers at the Jinjira branch of Rupali Bank in Keraniganj.
The officials were seen escorting the hostages out of the bank around 5:30pm on Thursday.
Initial reports suggest that three robbers have been detained during the operation.
Earlier in the day, robbers attacked and took some bank officials hostage and demanded ransom.
Dhaka District Police Superintendent Ahmad Muyeed confirmed the incident on Thursday.
Members of various law enforcement agencies, including the police, later cordoned off the building.
According to officials, the robbers entered the bank around 2pm.
