BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia went to her son, BNP's acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s house from the London Clinic.
She was released from the hospital 18 days after treatment in the UK, said her personal physician AZM Zahid Hossain on Saturday (January 25).
He said Begum Zia was released from the hospital on the advice of doctors.
“She will receive further healthcare from her son's house,” he said, adding that treatment will continue from home as per the advice of the medical board.
Her son, Tarique Rahman, sought prayers from the countrymen for his mother's recovery.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia went to the United Kingdom for advanced treatment on January 8.
