Inquilab Mancha leaders block Kakrail intersection after march halted

The leaders and activists of Inquilab Mancha took position at the Kakrail intersection in the capital after law enforcement authorities blocked their march towards the Chief Adviser's Jamuna residence on Sunday.

In response to the obstruction, Inquilab Mancha leaders and activists staged a sit-in at the Kakrail Mosque intersection. 

Later, around 3pm, they intensified their protest by lying down on the road at the Kakrail intersection to press their demands.

Inquilab Mancha leaders and activists began their march towards State Guest House Jamuna, official residence of Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, from Shahbagh, in front of the National Museum around 12:30pm. 

During this time, police and APBN personnel were seen placing barricades on both sides of the road leading to Jamuna. 

Their three demands are:

• Cancellation of the Awami League's registration.
• Arrest of all individuals involved in Awami League committees to protect revolutionaries from targeted killings.
• Ensuring the safety of all July Revolution fighters, including private university students.
