Now Adviser Asif Nazrul condemns Modi's Facebook post on Victory day

Adviser for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Asif Nazrul has strongly condemned a Facebook post by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Bangladesh’s Victory Day.
In a verified Facebook post on Monday, Asif Nazrul expressed his protest, attaching a screenshot of Modi’s post.
He wrote: "I strongly protest. December 16, 1971, marks Bangladesh's Victory Day. India was merely an ally in this victory, nothing more."
In the post, Modi wrote: “Today, on Vijay Diwas, we honour the courage and sacrifices of the brave soldiers who contributed to India’s historic victory in 1971. Their selfless dedication and unwavering resolve safeguarded our nation and brought glory to us. This day is a tribute to their extraordinary valour and their unshakable spirit. Their sacrifices will forever inspire generations and remain deeply embedded in our nation’s history.”
Modi’s post also sparked sharp reactions from Hasnat Abdullah, one of the key coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
In a post on his verified Facebook account, Hasnat Abdullah strongly criticized the statement.
